2018 MCLAREN VALE 'GREVILLEA' GRENACHE
Grenache bright as the native Grevillea flower, which provides a nectar for birds and people alike. Dark cherry, strawberry and floral characters, with softness on the palate and a medium body.
Sebastian's great-great-great-grandfather planted Grenache early on in the development of South Australia's wine industry, dating back to 1853. Grenache has a long history in the McLaren Vale wine region, being well suited to the long, sunny growing season. It's been prized over the years for its versatility, producing everything from rosés to fortifieds, bright and light reds through to big and bold reds, offering its different spectrums as both a blender and a stand alone variety.
